What We Do

Hi, We’re caring for Miami.

The Backpack Program provides nutritious, easy to prepare meals to Title I schools weekly, for children in need, when school meals are unavailable.

Community Impact

Access To Dental Care

Caring for the needs of our community means increasing access to care to low income and uninsured individuals. Through the Project Smile Program, we respond to current community needs to improve access to affordable dental care and provide a dental home to economically disadvantaged individuals who reside in Miami-Dade County.

Food Security

Food Security is defined as a lack of consistent access to enough food for an active and healthy life. Through our Backpack Program we mobilize communities, volunteers and resources to provide access to kid friendly meals on the weekends to food insecure children in our community.

Literacy and Education

Miami-Dade County has a diverse, multilingual, and multicultural population. In fact, more than half of Miami-Dade’s residents were born outside the U.S.Through our Bridge Program we bring conversational English, K-8 tutoring and high school student mentorship together to equip and advance non-native families with the skills they need to succeed in this Country.
