Caring for Miami’s Project Smile Program exists to provide, through collaborative partnerships, access to free dental services to uninsured, low-income families in Miami-Dade County.
Oral Health Education
Project Smile strives to provide oral hygiene education to our patients and their family members. We educate patients on the importance of maintaining good oral health, the correlation between oral health, diabetes and hypertension, and the implications of oral health and chemotherapy treatment for patients receiving cancer treatments.
Preventive Screenings and Restorative Treatment
We provide patients with comprehensive oral health exams and oral cancer screenings. Our dedicated team of volunteer and employed dental hygienists provide patients with prophylaxis, fluoride application, gross debridement, scaling and root planning. In addition, we provide fillings, extractions and single unit root canals.
The best way to access our services is to call and make an appointment. You can reach us at 786-430-1051.
Community Partnerships are vital to our effectiveness. We actively seek to partner with local organizations and free clinics so that financial hardship is no longer a reason to be without quality dental care in Miami-Dade County.

Volunteer Healthcare Provider Program
Caring For Miami’s Project Smile Program cooperates with the Florida Department of Health to provide sovereign immunity to dental and medical professionals who provide services on our dental unit. Under Sovereign Immunity the State of Florida assumes responsibility for any liability, thus protecting dentists and health care workers to practice in a “worry free” environment. To be eligible for Sovereign Immunity certain guidelines and processes must be followed as outlines by the Volunteer Health Care Provider Program.
