Community Dental Outreach – Mobile Dental Clinic

Volunteer to serve the Lotus House community in Miami with our Mobile Dental Clinic. Caring For Miami will be providing free dental care to residents of the Lotus House.

The Lotus House is a homeless shelter for women and children, one of the biggest in the nation with over 1,550+ women and children being sheltered there annually. The mission of the Lotus House is to improve the lives of women, youth, and children experiencing homelessness by providing sanctuary, support, education, tools and resources that empower them to improve the quality of their lives on every level, achieve greater self sufficiency, and build safe, secure lives. If their dreams come true, we enrich our community with the fruit of their potential realized.

Information for Volunteers: Sign ups for this event will start on April 20th

At this time all volunteers must have completed the Department of Health (DOH) Healthcare Worker Training to be eligible to volunteer at this event. If you are interested in volunteering for this event or for more information please email mwick@caringformiami.org.

Information for Patients: 

Patients eligible to receive services must not have any type of dental insurance and have to fall under the eligibility requirements of the Florida Volunteer Healthcare Provider Program. Registration will take place on site and begins at 9:00 am. No appointments needed, patients are seen on first come first served. Patient Registration begins at 9am!
