Community Outreach – Mobile Dental Clinic

Volunteer to serve with our Mobile Dental Clinic as we serve the residents of the Lotus House! Caring For Miami will be providing free dental care to individuals of the Lotus House

Information for General Support Volunteers:

At this time, all general support volunteers must have completed the Department of Health (DOH) Healthcare Worker Training to be eligible to volunteer at this event.  Please check the event page to find out when the next DOH training is. If you are dentist or hygienists, you do not need to complete the Department of Health Training.

Please keep in mind that volunteer spots can fill up very quickly, so plan on registering right when registrations/sign ups open.

Due to the high interest in volunteering with our Mobile Dental Clinic team, if you are unable to serve for the entire event  (8:30am-3pm) we kindly request you sign up for another event that you are able to stay for the whole event .

Please do not attend an outreach event that you did not sign up for, we appreciate the passion and interest & we will invite you to our future events and request that you sign up for a spot.

Information for Dental Care Providers: Dentists and Hygienists

If you are a dentist or dental hygienist and have not served with us before but are interested in serving at this event, please contact the Dental Outreach Coordinator, Mary Wick at mwick@caringformiami.org.

Information for Patients: 

Patients eligible to receive services must not have any type of dental insurance and have to fall under the eligibility requirements of the Florida Volunteer Healthcare Provider Program. Registration will take place on site and begins at 9:00 am. No appointments needed, patients are seen on first come first served. Patient Registration begins at 9am!
