FAQs
Why do used clothes need to be dry-cleaned?
We want people to be able to shop with dignity. Choosing clothing that looks and feels ready to wear. There’s no better feeling than to wear fresh, dry-cleaned clothes!
Why are there limits?
Limited warehouse space requires items to be ready for immediate distribution. Quality donations help serve more people and reduce waste.
What will happen if I try to donate something on the “Cannot Accept” list?
Unfortunately, the items will not be accepted and handed back to you.
What if I can’t make it to donate on the first Sunday of the month?
Due to logistical issues, we cannot accept any other weeks. Please wait until the following month.
What if I don’t have hangers to donate with my new clothing?
We will have them available at the Caring For Miami Hub.
What can I do with those donations that are on the “Cannot Accept” list?
Please donate them to other clothing donation organizations. There are some options below on the “Alternative Donation Locations”.
