Ashley, a Miami native, currently serves as the Executive Director of Caring For Miami. She received her Bachelors of Science from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida.
Throughout her career she has developed expertise in strategic planning, program development, grant-maker research, grant strategy and grant proposal writing, with a focus in health and human services.
Ashley is grateful for the opportunity that Caring For Miami gives her to work in the field of which she is most passionate, non profit health and human services. Her desire is to use her passion, knowledge and determination to be an advocate for individuals of socio-economic disadvantage and bridge gaps that exist in access to care for life’s most basic needs.
Ashley currently lives in Palmetto Bay, Florida with her husband Omar and their children Camila and Mateo, where they serve the church as part of Christ Fellowship’s Palmetto Bay Campus. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and exercising.
